Annual Forum "Accountability & Transparency: More Than Good Intentions" Features Charity Navigator President Ken Berger

The Charities Review Council announces its Annual Forum luncheon taking place on Tuesday, June 15 at the Golden Valley Country Club in Golden Valley, Minn. The Annual Forum luncheon will feature the Charities Review Council’s Report to the Community and guest speaker, Ken Berger, president and CEO of Charity Navigator, a nonprofit that evaluates charities for donors.

Berger will present his ideas and views on the importance of responsibility and transparency in the nonprofit sector as well as the necessary steps charities need to take in order to achieve good governance.

“The Annual Forum “Accountability & Transparency: More Than Good Intentions,” brings hundreds of nonprofits and community leaders together to discuss important issues such as ethics, accountability and how to promote smart giving,” said Rich Cowles, executive director of the Charities Review Council. “It is an essential dialogue among influential opinion leaders.”

The Charities Review Council’s Annual Forum will be held on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Golden Valley Country Club in Golden Valley, Minn.
