Detailed review reports from the Council's review process, the Accountability Wizard, provide important information about grantseekers.

Search for reviews on charities seeking grants from your organization in the Council's online charity search. Click on the "Detailed Report" link next to the organization's name to access the report. To see a sample of a "Detailed Report," click here.

Review reports provide easy access to key information in a standardized format. You can access information such as:

• Mission 
• Programs 
• Financial information
• Affiliations or accreditations
• Link to the organization's Web site
• Comments from the organization about the reviews
• If an organization did not meet standards, it can outline steps it is taking to meet standards within the comment section of the report.

Participation in the Accountability Wizard is an indicator that an organization is committed to accountability and self-improvement. Evidence that a charity meets the Council's Accountability Standards can help you assess a nonprofit's organizational capacity and allow you to focus more of your time on evaluating the grant proposal itself.
